Let me start by saying that DD-WRT is great, it supports a huge range of hardware and mostly does what it says it'll do. The glaring exception unfortunately is Quality of Service 'QoS', the DD-WRT implementation is totally broken. My requirements for QoS were probably the same as virtually everyone else who looks into traffic shaping -- allow surfing and VOIP to continue even when there are large P2P transfers.
This website is primarily a playground for me to learn web development and at the moment the content pretty rubbish, the idea is that once I make it easy to add and correct stuff it will become more of a resource to others -- I'm gradually going round updating and correcting content as I find the time.
I'm pretty sure that all the images work now, except for the ones on the Windcheetah review page.
This is because there are a lot of them and they're stuck in a nasty table from when this site done in Frontpage, then using PHPtal and now using Drupal which pretty much knocks the socks off the other two. I was pretty much able to just copy-paste the content but there are some bits (the bits made by microsoft) that are a bit funky.
I re-shuffled the site and now I have to go through every article fixing the links to the images so they're going to be broken for a few days. Sorry.
Sorry about the downtime. It was because Fasthosts are a bunch of shysters. I allowed my credit card to expire and and didn't renew it because I didn't want them to renew the domain name, expecting it to become unregistered and then I could sign up with a different registrar.
Wrong!
I've moved the whole site over to drupal, so now I can add content and fix stuff without needing to use a web editor every time the site should see much more frequent updates and gradually the old, rubbish content wil dissappear and overall the quality of the site will go up, rather than down.
