What does it do?

A Linkwitz Transform, also know as a bi-quad filter is essentially a low shelf EQ that extends the bass response of a closed box subwoofer at the expense of power handling. It was designed by Sigfriend Linkwitz and the details of component selection and operation can be found at the relevant section of his site. He provides downloadable spreadsheets to calculate the values for your application.

The board is single sided with some wire links on the top side.

It has been carefully designed, but not built or tested. Caveat Emptor
